Legendary Trees is happy to announce the addition of a new line of live oaks that we can offer at a lower price point. These saplings come directly from acorns hand gathered from the HARVEY GIANT- a massive live oak tree in the front yard of the co-founders house in Fort Worth. This tree is where it all started for Legendary Trees – Three years ago, the founder and his kids gathered a few acorns from the huge tree and planted them in a cup filled with soil to see if they would germinate – and the rest as they say “is history”! These trees may not come from “Famous Trees,” but they do come from a Family that we associate with loved ones, core family values and a healthy respect for mother nature. Each Memory Tree has been planted, germinated and nurtured every step of the way at the Legendary Tree nursery – just like every tree we grow.
We hope this will give you the chance to select a unique gift for group celebrations like wedding parties, graduations, or even achievement awards for companies whose team members complete a certain goal.
Planting and caring for your Legendary Tree is easy — see the Tree Care page for more information. The saplings we sell are just over a year old, approaching 3 feet tall, and in 1-gallon containers. They are shipped in a well-designed, eco-friendly recycled paper box. We use FedEx ground and guarantee arrival within 5 business days of your order.
