Johnny Cash, Angel Oak, Treaty Oak and Century Tree Seedlings
Last fall, the research team at Legendary Trees gathered over 6,000 acorns. To accomplish their goal, they drove over 2,100 miles and visited 29 FAMOUS trees in 5 states.
Trees visited included the Johnny Cash Tree in Tennessee, the Angel Oak in South Carolina, the Treaty Oak in Austin and the Century Tree on the Texas A & M University campus. These acorns were planted and are now “growing up” in the Legendary Trees greenhouse.
In a few more months, they will be transplanted into one-gallon containers, moved outside to the LT sprinkler pads, and will be 2-3 feet tall and ready to ship come fall!
